DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO BIG BEAR SHORES RV RESORT, 40751 NORTH SHORE LANE, FAWNSKIN

FROM SAN BERNARDINO, RIVERSIDE, ORANGE COUNTY, LA via Hwy 18
(33 miles of mountain driving to the Big Bear Dam)
- Take I-10 East to the 210 East to Hwy 330 North.
- Hwy 330 turns into Hwy 18 at Running Springs. Continue East towards Big Bear.
- At the Dam, continue straight onto Hwy 38; the lake will be on your right.
- Follow the signs through Fawnskin.
- About 1½ miles past the town, you will see a sign for “Boat Rentals”– SLOW DOWN!
- Turn right on North Shore Lane
- Enter Big Bear Shores at the twin waterfalls.
FROM REDLANDS, YUCAIPA via Hwy 38
(50 miles of mountain driving, easiest drive & scenic route)
- Take I-10 East & exit at Orange St./Downtown (Hwy 38).
- Go straight thru the stop sign & turn left on Orange Street.
- Turn right on Lugonia Ave, & follow thru Redlands & Mentone. Lugonia becomes Highway 38.
- Follow the signs to Big Bear. In Big Bear City, turn left at the stop sign to stay on Hwy 38.
- Turn right on Greenway (2nd signal light), then left at the 1st stop sign to stay on Hwy 38.
- Hwy 38 becomes North Shore Drive.
- The lake will be on your left, the Discovery Center on your right.
- At the Discovery Center, SLOW DOWN!
- Turn left onto North Shore Lane.
- Enter Big Bear Shores at the twin waterfalls.
FROM SAN DIEGO via Hwy 18
- Take the 15 North to the 215 North to the I-10 East.
- Follow directions from San Bernardino at the top of the page.
FROM LUCERNE VALLEY via Hwy 18
(7.5 miles of mountain driving – steep with 3 switchbacks. There is a 16% grade, you may want to unhook your tow vehicle)
- Take Hwy 18 from Lucerne Valley to Hwy 38 (aka, North Shore Drive)
- STAY ON SR 38/North Shore Drive. The lake will be on your left.
- On your right, you will see the Discovery Center. SLOW DOWN!
- Turn left onto North Shore Lane.
- Enter Big Bear Shores at the twin waterfalls.
FROM PALM SPRINGS via Hwy 30/330/18
- Take I-10 West to the 210 to the 330 North toward Running Springs.
- Hwy 330 will become Hwy 18 in Running Springs. Continue East towards Big Bear.
- At the Dam, continue straight onto Hwy 38; the lake will be on your right.
- Follow the signs through Fawnskin.

- Turn right on North Shore Lane
- Enter Big Bear Shores at the twin waterfalls.
